Salsa dance has a long history, developed from the traditional "son" and "rumba" of Cuba, and is a relatively new pair dance created mainly by Puerto Rican immigrants from New York in the late 1960s. DJ history 25 years, club history 30 years. In the early 90's, one after another opened unique clubs in Kyoto, becoming the forerunner of the Japanese club scene. He also expands the range of genres from the original Latin DJ, but since 2002 he has specialized in salsa, which is his main business. Then, in 2004, Rumbita opened in Kyoto. Currently, he plays an active role in the world as an international DJ representing Japan. NPO corporation "Japan Latin culture promotion association" was established, and it is putting emphasis on Latin culture extension activity through Latin music and dance.

HISTORY

Salsa has a long history. In the '60s, young men in Liverpool, England, I copied black R & B that was popular in America, It starts. I'll tell you a little bit about that long history.
